A Gleneagles Escapade
A Gleneagles Escapade
Gleneagles is more than a golf resort — it's a world unto itself. Set amid the rolling Perthshire hills in a magnificent French château-style hotel, the estate offers three championship courses, a world-class spa, and an extraordinary range of country pursuits from falconry to off-road driving.
This five-night escape gives you the full Gleneagles experience: a round on each of the three courses — The King's (former Scottish Open host), The Queen's (a shorter, scenic delight), and the PGA Centenary (Jack Nicklaus's Ryder Cup masterpiece) — plus ample time for the spa, the estate's activities, and a day trip to nearby Scone Palace.
It's the perfect short trip for couples, small groups, or anyone who wants to experience the best of Scottish hospitality without the logistics of multi-stop touring.

Day by Day
A suggested flow for your trip. Every day is flexible — extend, shorten, or swap any element based on your preferences.
Welcome to the Estate
Arrive at Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport. Private transfer to The Gleneagles Hotel (approx. 1 hour from either). Check in to your room with views over the Perthshire countryside. Afternoon at leisure — explore the estate grounds, the shops, or book a treatment at the ESPA spa. Welcome gift from Jack awaiting in the room.
Scotland's Royal Links
The former Scottish Open host and one of the most scenic courses in Britain. James Braid's 1919 design uses the natural moorland terrain to full effect — springy turf, heather-lined fairways, and views that change with every hole. Afternoon free for estate activities or a complimentary spa session.
A Shorter Gem
At Par 68, The Queen's is shorter than its siblings but no less engaging. It's hosted Greg Norman, Johnny Miller, and Seve Ballesteros. The setting is intimate — heather-fringed greens, birch-lined fairways, and a sense of quiet that the bigger courses can't match. Afternoon guided tour of Scone Palace — the crowning place of Scottish kings.
Beyond the Fairways
A non-golf day to enjoy the full Gleneagles experience. Choose from the estate's extraordinary roster: falconry, off-road driving, shooting, archery, fishing, horse riding, or tennis. Or spend the day in the spa. In the evening, dinner at Andrew Fairlie — the only two-Michelin-star restaurant in Scotland — or the Birnam Brasserie.
Walk the Ryder Cup Stage
Your finale: the Jack Nicklaus-designed PGA Centenary — host of the 2014 Ryder Cup. At 7,262 yards from the tips, it's a true championship test. The amphitheatre green on 18 is where Europe sealed victory. Savour every step. Farewell dinner tonight at the hotel — the perfect ending to your Gleneagles escapade.
Until Next Time
Full Scottish breakfast, then private transfer to Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport. Or extend your stay — we can add St Andrews, the Highlands, or an Edinburgh city break.
