Booking Terms & Conditions
Please read carefully before confirming your reservation. These terms govern your relationship with International Golf Adventures.
Overview
International Golf Adventures (IGA) acts as the sole representative for all travel arrangements described herein. By submitting a deposit or booking confirmation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions in their entirety. These terms constitute a binding agreement between the traveler and International Golf Adventures and apply to all bookings made directly with IGA.
IGA reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking confirmation governs your reservation.
Pricing & Exchange Rates
All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and are based on exchange rates in effect at the time the quote is issued. Prices are valid until a deposit is received; after that, your quoted price is locked in regardless of subsequent exchange rate movements.
Package prices represent the complete tour cost and may not be broken down or itemized by individual service component. Prices are subject to change prior to deposit receipt due to currency fluctuations, supplier cost changes, or seasonal adjustments.
Payments
A deposit of 20% to 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The exact deposit amount will be specified in your tour quotation.
Full payment is due no later than 60 days prior to your departure date. If payment in full is not received by that date, IGA reserves the right to cancel the reservation and apply the cancellation penalties described below.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
- PayPal
- Bank transfer (wire)
- Wise (formerly TransferWise)
- Personal or business check (USD only)
Visit our Make a Payment page for full banking details and secure payment links.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to connect@golfand.com. The cancellation date is the date IGA receives written notice. The following fee schedule applies:
- Deposit paid — Non-refundable at all times
- 59–30 days before departure — 50% of total tour cost
- 29–15 days before departure — 75% of total tour cost
- 14 days or fewer before departure — No refund
- UK destinations: cancellations within 60 days — No refund
No refunds are issued for any unused portions of a tour, including but not limited to missed meals, accommodations, tee times, transfers, or attractions, regardless of the reason for non-use.
IGA strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment. See our Travel Insurance page for details.
Changes
After a booking has been confirmed, an administrative fee of $35 per person will apply to any changes requested by the traveler. For itineraries that include UK destinations, this fee is $80 per person per change.
In addition to IGA's administrative fee, changes may incur additional charges from airlines, hotels, golf courses, or other third-party suppliers. These third-party charges are the sole responsibility of the traveler. IGA will communicate any such costs before processing the change.
Last-Minute Reservations
Bookings made within 60 days of the departure date require full payment at the time of booking. No deposit-only option is available for last-minute reservations. Availability for late-booked tours cannot be guaranteed, and IGA will confirm feasibility before accepting payment.
Air Travel
All IGA tour prices are quoted without airfare. International flights, domestic connections, and airport taxes are the responsibility of the traveler unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by IGA. Many clients choose to use frequent flier miles, travel rewards points, or private aviation — we accommodate all preferences.
IGA is not responsible for any losses, costs, or inconvenience arising from airline delays, cancellations, overbooking, missed connections, schedule changes, or any other disruption to air travel. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip interruption and flight delay coverage.
Golf Course Selection
All golf course bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. IGA will use all reasonable efforts to secure your requested courses; however, if a course is unavailable, IGA reserves the right to substitute a course of similar standing and caliber without prior notice.
The sequence of golf courses within an itinerary may also be altered based on tee time availability, weather, or operational factors. IGA will notify travelers of any significant substitutions, though the overall quality and character of the experience will be maintained.
Golf Handicap
All golfers are required to carry a current, official handicap card or certificate issued by a recognized golf authority (USGA, R&A, or equivalent national body). Many courses featured in IGA tours require proof of handicap as a condition of play, and maximum handicap restrictions apply at some venues.
Failure to present a valid handicap certificate when requested may result in refusal of access at certain courses. IGA accepts no liability for losses incurred as a result of a traveler's inability to provide required documentation.
Carts & Caddies
Electric golf carts (buggies) are available on a limited basis at most courses. At some venues, a physician's medical certificate may be required to use a cart; at others, walking is mandatory or caddies/forecaddies are required. These are course policies outside IGA's control.
Unless specifically stated in your written itinerary, the cost of electric carts, caddies, and forecaddies is not included in the tour price. IGA will advise on expected costs during the planning process, but actual charges are payable locally.
Hotel Accommodations
All accommodations are reserved in standard twin or double-occupancy rooms with private en-suite facilities unless a specific upgrade has been requested in writing and confirmed by IGA. Room type upgrades are subject to availability and may incur additional cost.
If a reserved hotel is unable to honor a booking due to reasons beyond IGA's control (overbooking, renovation, force majeure), IGA reserves the right to substitute a hotel of similar standard. No refund will be issued for such substitutions, and IGA accepts no liability beyond securing alternative accommodation of comparable quality.
Car Rental
Where car rental is included in or arranged as part of your IGA itinerary, the following conditions apply:
- All drivers must be 25 years of age or older
- A valid driver's license (from country of residence) is required at time of pickup
- Unlimited mileage, local VAT, and Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) are typically included
- Fuel/gasoline costs are the responsibility of the traveler
- Personal Accident Insurance is not included unless specifically stated
Drivers are responsible for compliance with all local traffic laws. Any fines, tolls, or additional charges incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the driver.
Travel Insurance
IGA strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive trip cancellation and travel insurance prior to departure. Travel insurance can protect you against significant financial loss due to unforeseen circumstances including illness, injury, family emergency, natural disaster, or airline disruption.
Information about recommended travel insurance providers will be furnished at the time of booking. European Union and United Kingdom residents must provide proof of adequate insurance coverage before their tour departs. All other travelers who elect not to purchase travel insurance are required to sign an Insurance Waiver Agreement acknowledging that they have declined coverage and accept the associated financial risk.
See our Travel Insurance page for recommended providers and coverage details.
Financial Protection
International Golf Adventures is covered by professional liability insurance and operates in accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations. A certificate of insurance is available upon written request.
IGA is a member of recognized industry associations that provide traveler protection frameworks. All client funds are held in accordance with applicable regulations governing travel industry financial practices.
Responsibilities & Liability
International Golf Adventures acts solely as an agent between the traveler and independent third-party service providers, including but not limited to golf courses, hotels, transportation companies, tour operators, and car rental agencies. IGA does not own, operate, or control any of these services.
IGA accepts no responsibility or liability for personal injury, property damage, financial loss, or any other loss or inconvenience arising from the negligent acts or omissions of independent suppliers, their employees, subcontractors, or agents.
IGA's liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for the affected tour. IGA is not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages of any nature.
Refunds
No refunds will be issued for any services that are included in a tour but not utilized by the traveler, for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Missed hotel nights
- Unused transfers or transportation
- Skipped or missed tee times
- Meals not consumed
- Attractions not visited
- Early departure from a tour
All refund requests relating to supplier performance must be submitted in writing to IGA within 30 days of the tour's end date. IGA will use reasonable efforts to pursue refunds from suppliers on the traveler's behalf but makes no guarantee of outcome.
