Jack McCullars played his first round of golf at the age of eight. His dad — a career Navy man who wasn't home nearly enough — took him to a local course that was closed for the winter. They played in the snow.
It wasn't about the golf. It was about the time together. Those rounds became some of Jack's most treasured memories — the quiet companionship, the shared love of the game, the feeling that out on a golf course, nothing else mattered.
That feeling never left him. It became the foundation of everything International Golf Adventures would become.

From Engineer to Golf Professional
Nearly thirty years after that snowy round, Jack was working as an engineer. Comfortable. Stable. But something was missing.
Then came the 32nd Ryder Cup at Valderrama Golf Club in Spain. Standing on those fairways, watching the world's best compete on one of Europe's most magnificent courses, the idea hit Jack like a perfect drive down the center: he needed to build something that combined his two greatest passions — golf and travel.
Jack quit his engineering job, became a certified golf teaching professional, and within two years, International Golf Adventures was born in the summer of 1999.
