A Week at 'Home' of Golf
The Pilgrimage Every Golfer Dreams Of
There are a handful of moments that can compare to teeing off on Hole #1 — the "Burn" — at the Old Course in St Andrews Links. The rush is overwhelming. A strange sense of fulfillment awaits any golfer playing there for the first time, and applause from bystanders around the 18th green for a well-struck approach or nicely stroked putt is not uncommon.
Get ready — because this is no longer a bucket list dream with us. And that's not all: this package includes other top-rated gems that serve up thrills on links quite simply made in heaven. Plenty of off-course activities ensure you never have a dull moment, from whisky distillery tours to walking the ancient St Andrews Castle and Cathedral.

Day by Day
A suggested flow for your week in St Andrews. Every day is flexible — extend, shorten, or swap any element based on your preferences.
Welcome to Scotland
Arrive at Edinburgh Airport where our team greets you and assists with baggage. Private transfer to Rusacks St Andrews Hotel (approx. 1.5 hours). Check in, settle into your Deluxe King room overlooking the 18th green of the Old Course, and enjoy a welcome gift from Jack. Dinner tonight is an opportunity to stroll the town — restaurant recommendations provided.
Ease Into Scottish Links Golf
Full Scottish breakfast at the hotel, then a gentle introduction to Scottish links at the youngest of the St Andrews courses — the Castle Course (2008). Dramatic cliffside setting, firm turf, and coastal views to orient you to the links experience. Afternoon free to walk the town or visit the British Golf Museum.
The Beast of Carnoustie
A 45-minute drive to one of Scotland's most feared tests — Carnoustie has hosted The Open eight times. The back nine is legendary; the 18th crossing the Barry Burn has broken champions. This is a bucket-list round for serious golfers. Return to St Andrews for dinner at Rusacks.
Rest the Clubs, Feed the Soul
A non-golf day to explore the ancient town. Morning walking tour of St Andrews including the Castle, Cathedral ruins, and Old Tom Morris's grave marker. Afternoon visit to Kingsbarns Whisky Distillery for a tour and tasting. Optional add-on: 9 holes of Hickory Golf with period clubs for the truly adventurous.
A Classic Links Warmup
The New Course is "new" only by St Andrews standards — built in 1895 and considered by many locals the purest links on the property. A fitting prelude to tomorrow's Old Course round. Afternoon free for shopping on Market Street or a round of putting on the famous Himalayas green.
Tee Off at the Home of Golf
The pilgrimage. Step onto the first tee of the Old Course — the birthplace of golf. Play the same fairways that have hosted champions since 1552. The Road Hole, the Swilcan Bridge, Hell Bunker, the Valley of Sin — every hole a chapter of the game's history. We handle the ballot application and the caddies. Tonight, celebrate with a farewell dinner.
A Spectacular Farewell Round
Your final round is at Kingsbarns — a modern masterpiece along the North Sea coast just 10 minutes from St Andrews. Stunning coastal holes, undulating fairways, and some of the most photographed scenery in Scottish golf. A perfect close to the week.
Home With Memories for a Lifetime
Leisurely breakfast, check out, and private transfer to Edinburgh Airport in time for your departure flight. A few weeks later, your custom photo memory book of the trip will arrive in the mail — our complimentary gift to help you relive every moment.
