Tralee Golf Club

Arnold Palmer designed very few links courses in his career, but Tralee is considered among the finest. Carved into the dramatic headland of Barrow Point with Tralee Bay stretching below, it combines the elemental beauty of the Kerry coastline with a routing that makes maximum use of the terrain's extraordinary natural features.

The opening nine holes build through the dunes before the back nine turns onto the ocean promontory, where fairways cling to clifftops and the Atlantic is omnipresent. The 3rd hole, played across a rocky inlet, is one of the most jaw-dropping par-3s in golf.

Course Highlights

Arnold Palmer's Links
One of the few links courses designed by Arnie โ€” he considered Tralee's setting one of the finest natural golf sites he had ever encountered.
The 3rd Hole
A par-3 played across a rugged inlet with the Atlantic below โ€” dramatic, memorable, and extraordinarily beautiful.
Barrow Headland
The back nine occupies a clifftop promontory with 360-degree views of Tralee Bay, the Dingle Peninsula, and the Kerry mountains.
Wild Kerry Coast
One of the least-visited premium links in Ireland, Tralee retains an unspoilt, unpretentious character rare at this level of golf.
