PGA Catalunya — Stadium Course
PGA Catalunya is Spain's northern answer to Valderrama — a parkland course of genuine championship quality set in the rolling Catalan countryside near Girona. The Stadium Course was designed for professional tournament golf, with wide landing areas, aggressive bunkering, and amphitheatre-style greenside mounding that creates genuine theatre.
Since 2012 the course has hosted the Spanish Open, and the European Tour loves returning here for its excellent infrastructure, superb conditioning, and proximity to Barcelona. The companion Tour Course is one of the finest resort-standard courses in Europe, making PGA Catalunya a two-course destination.
Course Highlights
Consistently rated one of the European Tour's finest venues, with state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional course conditioning.
Girona is 45 minutes from Barcelona — combine world-class golf with Europe's most vibrant city.
The Stadium and Tour courses offer two very different experiences on the same estate — a full golf resort.
Cork oaks, umbrella pines, and the Catalan hills create a landscape that is unmistakably Spanish yet unlike the Costa del Sol.
