Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club
Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club
Menaggio & Cadenabbia is one of the oldest golf clubs in Italy — a mountain course opened in 1907 that clings to the steep hillside above Lake Como with views of the lake's northern arm, the Swiss Alps, and the surrounding Larian triangle mountains. The dramatic topography creates holes of extraordinary variety — some nearly flat, others climbing or descending sharply with the mountain terrain.
The course's position above the lake at 500 metres elevation gives it a commanding panorama that makes every tee shot begin with a moment of appreciation before golf takes over. It is shorter than modern championship courses, but the mountain setting and views make it one of Italy's most memorable rounds.
Course Highlights
One of Italy's oldest clubs — over 115 years of golf on the Lake Como hillside.
500 metres above the lake's northern arm — views extending to the Swiss Alps and the Larian triangle.
Steep hillside terrain creates holes that tumble, climb, and wrap around the mountain — unlike any flat course in Italy.
The lake's most beautiful villages are accessible by ferry from the course's lakeside base — perfect day combination.
