Kinloch Club
Jack Nicklaus considered Kinloch his finest course design, and on one level that is easy to understand — no designer has ever had a more extraordinary canvas. The course is set on a peninsula beside Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake, with the snow-capped volcanoes of Tongariro National Park — Mount Tongariro, Ngauruhoe (Mt Doom), and Ruapehu — visible across the water.
The course is strictly private, limited to members and their guests, making it one of the most exclusive golf experiences in the southern hemisphere. The Lodge at Kinloch on the estate provides accommodation for visiting groups.
