Castle Stuart Golf Links
Castle Stuart Golf Links, set on the shores of the Moray Firth near Inverness, has rapidly established itself as one of Scotland's finest modern links courses. Gil Hanse and Mark Parsinen created a routing that plays along a dramatic sea-cliff setting, with the Black Isle across the water and the Moray Firth providing a constantly shifting backdrop of light and colour.
Since opening in 2009, Castle Stuart has hosted the Scottish Open three times, putting it firmly on the world stage. Every hole offers a different perspective of the firth and the surrounding Highland countryside. The course is widely praised for its pace of play โ wide landing areas reward bold lines while still challenging lower handicappers with well-placed hazards.
