The Soul of Portugal
Full-day guided tour of historic Porto — Ribeira, Dom Luís Bridge, Livraria Lello, São Bento Station. Evening: fado show with port wine tasting at Calem Lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Porto's Coastal Links
A 20-minute drive to Estela — arguably the best course in the Porto region. A true links experience along the Atlantic coast at Póvoa de Varzim. Par 72, 6,148 yards. Afternoon: Douro Valley cruise with lunch and wine tasting — a highlight.
South to the Sintra Hills
Morning transfer south to Sintra (approx. 3.5 hours via motorway, scenic route via Coimbra available). Check in to the Ritz-Carlton Penha Longa — a 14th-century monastery estate in the UNESCO-protected Sintra hills. Dinner at Midori, Portugal's only Asian Michelin-star restaurant.
Silver Coast Drama
A 1-hour drive north to Praia D'El Rey on the Silver Coast — a stunning RTJ Jr. design set among pine forests with the Atlantic crashing alongside. Par 73, 7,036 yards. Return to Penha Longa.
World Top 100
A 30-minute drive to Cascais and Oitavos Dunes — within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, set among pine woods and reforested dunes. A perennial European Top 50. Par 72, 5,967 yards. Afternoon: Sintra tour followed by wine tasting.
