Start on the sunny island of Djerba — the gateway to the south — with two rounds on the 27-hole complex and the stunning beaches. Then drive inland to Douz, the "Gateway to the Sahara," for a camel trek, a night in a desert camp under the stars, and visits to the troglodyte homes of Matmata (Star Wars filming location) and the salt flats of Chott el Jerid.
Return north to Hammamet for three rounds on Tunisia's finest — Yasmine Valley (#1) and Citrus La Forêt (World Golf Awards). Stay at the Iberostar Selection Royal Djerba, a desert camp at Douz, and the Hotel Phenicia Hammamet. A trip unlike any other in golf travel.

Welcome to Djerba
Arrive at Djerba-Zarzis Airport. Transfer to Iberostar Selection Royal Djerba (20 minutes) — beachfront all-inclusive on the island's sunniest coast. Evening: explore Houmt Souk market.
Island Golf
Djerba Golf Club — the 27-hole complex's La Mer (The Sea) Course, with the Mediterranean alongside. Par 72, 6,422 yards. Afternoon: visit the El Ghriba Synagogue — one of the oldest in the world.
Palm-Lined Drama
Djerba's Les Palmiers (The Palms) Course — winding through date palms with distant views of the Sahara haze. Par 72, 6,580 yards. Afternoon at the resort beach or pool.
Into the Sahara
Drive south from Djerba to Matmata (2 hours) — the troglodyte village where Star Wars' Luke Skywalker's childhood home was filmed. Lunch in a cave dwelling. Continue to Douz (1.5 hours) — the "Gateway to the Sahara." Late-afternoon camel trek into the dunes. Overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
Salt Lake & Colosseum
Early morning in the desert, then drive across the otherworldly salt flats of Chott el Jerid. Stop at El Jem to visit the Roman colosseum (third-largest in the Roman Empire). Continue north to Hammamet (3 hours from El Jem). Check in to Hotel Phenicia.
